M-tone Flight Risk 9

This is a very lively, resonant guitar. The Lollar Imperials in combination with the swamp ash, limba and ebony make for a clear, articulate sound that can cover a lot of ground. The sound chamber between the pickups gives this solid body a nice amount of acoustic volume. This guitar does clean so well, but it can also get dirty, growly and mean. I call the finish “worn velvet.” It’s neither shiny nor matte. It feels like a guitar that has been played for many years, but was never scratched or dented. It has a silky feel that makes you want to pick it up and play it for hours. Plug it in, and you might end of playing for days.
